Carolyn (Cary) Clark is a lifelong resident of Ohio. She graduated from Margaretta High School in Castalia in 1982. As
a child she dreamed of a career cooking, but got sidetracked in the medical and chiropractic fields. After refocusing on her
dream she attended EHOVE Adult Career Center in the Certified Culinarian Apprenticeship program. In April 2007 she
completed the classroom portion and in May 2007 she passed the practical portion of her culinarian examination. She's currently accumulating
hours required to attain the minimum required to receive the status of Certified Culinarian.
She has experience
working in several great restaurants - TGIFridays, Kahunaville in Kalahari and Berardi's in Huron.
Cary is the proud mother of
four children - Amanda, Jonas, Marissa and Jared. She is the fiancee of John Gilbert, with whom she owns and operates Thyme
Savors Chef, and they plan to get married in April 2008!
Cary hopes to continue her education in the areas of food preparation
and nutrition while making Thyme Savors Chef the BEST Personal Chef Service in northern Ohio!
She is Serv-Safe
certified with the State of Ohio and a member in good standing of both the North Central Ohio Chefs Association and the American Culinary
Federation.
